There is bug affecting part of the latest batch of MF3D that prevents these units to be detected on the 2.63 build of the MF Utility in OS X yet they work fine under Windows.
If you are affected by it delete the Midi Fighter Utility folder from applications and install this one instead. In the case that the issue prevails please follow these instructions:
- With your unit connected directly to your computer go to Applications>Utilities and open the Audio MIDI Setup application
- Once that is open click on Window>Show MIDI Window
- If you see your 3D greyed out then select it and click on Remove Device, if it is fully lit then disconnect your unit and click Remove Device.
- Finally click on Rescan MIDI and your fighter should work properly with the MF Utility.
Note: If your computer detects it as a Generic MIDI Device then double click it and change the Device Name to "Midi Fighter 3D".
