Set the Deck Flavors in TRAKTOR PRO
Instead of setting the Deck flavor manually as described here, you can also use the Setup Wizard: choose 2 Track Decks + 2 Sample Decks in the menu, click Finish, and let the Wizard set everything for you. Bear in mind, though, that the Setup Wizard additionally resets all TRAKTOR PRO settings to their default values.
In the TRAKTOR PRO sofware, we set the lower Decks C and D to Sample Decks:
1.Open the Preferences window by clicking on the Preferences button in TRAKTOR PRO’s Header
2.Go to Preferences > Decks > Deck Flavor and select Sample Deck in the C and D menus
3.Click Close at the bottom of the Preferences window to confirm your modifications.
